How many diapers do I need? A tough question when going into the world of cloth diapers! But, how exciting! You should have at least two dozen cloth diapers and three covers. This gives you enough time to rotate dirty diapers through the laundry. With only two dozen, you can plan on doing laundry every day to every-other-day, depending on the age of your baby. The younger your baby, the more frequently you will be changing, especially with newborns! With three dozen diapers you will be able to launder every other day.  If you are sure you will be able to wash and dry diapers every day, then you should be fine with a lower number of diapers.  As children get older, they soil their diapers less frequently and you will be able to cut down on the number of changes and washes you have to do.  However, if you are not sure of your schedule and like to play it safe, it is better to have the extra diapers on hand in the event you need them.  Happy diapering!
